Condering Chefs De France for dinner on our next trip. Does anyone have a review they would like to share?
Personally I haven't been there but I have been to Monsieur Paul's. Upstairs. Which is very nice. I have ressies to Chefs de france for 3/21/17. I'll let You know then.
I've eaten both upstairs and downstairs.....personally, I felt more comfortable downstairs......the food is excellent both places but upstairs costs more and I actually ate everything on my plate, a big event for me.....AND I left hungry.....an hour later we went in for desert and drink at the Patisserie

I have eaten here before but prefer Monsieur Paul's instead. Chefs de France is more casual compared to Monsieur Paul's but the food is really good at both

We have actually booked both in the past and then changed our minds because we had no way to know how it was.

You haven't eaten both upstairs and downstairs? I am confused. The thread was asking about Chefs de France. Chefs de France is on the lower level with Monsieur Paul's (which replaced Bistro de Paris) is on the upper level. So, based on your comment, you have eaten at both Chefs de France ("downstairs") and Monsieur Paul's ("upstairs")?!

not good for me when I understand what she said and you are questioning it, makes me think I have more issues than I thought. Waiting for Cathie to explain and keeping fingers crossed. LOL

I have to laugh. It looks like cathie doesn't read the thread since it is talking about Chef de France which is "downstairs" rather than Monsieur Paul's which is "upstairs."
Ok never mind you guys what I read or think.....I HAVE eaten at both the upstairs and downstairs in France and personally feel the downstairs is better....end

Since the thread is titled "Chefs de France", then there is ONLY one floor and that is the first floor. If the thread was titled restaurant at the French Pavilion or comparing Chef de France to Monsieur Paul's, then it would make sense to talk about both. I guess it is a matter of staying on the subject of the thread and talking about what the thread is title which is "Chefs de France" and therefore we should ONLY be talking about the downstairs.....whether or not someone has eaten at both Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul's.

Had some fun reading the past entries to this thread. We booked Chefs de France once again for October and they changed the menu from when I booked it, so once again we canceled. Eventually we hope to try it. I can eat almost anything, so, it isn't me that causes the issue.
