Everyone always talks about the best ride, most thrilling, most nostalgic, or scariest ride but what is the most relaxing ride?

My vote is for PeopleMover and Carousel of Progress if you are in the MK. As a kid, my parents used to take me to CoP so I could take a nap during the 21-minute rotation. If you are in Epcot, I think Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth are the most relaxing.

What is yours?

You are spot on! For Hollywood Studios I would add The Great Movie Ride. For Animal Kingdom it is the bus ride back to the resort.

100% in agreement! I love those rides...Spaceship Earth is one of my favorites, especially Rome burning. I would add the WDW Train in the MK. I do like the Great Movie Ride in HS. And I always enjoy the monorail ride to Epcot and then back to our resort. In AK, I like the Wildlife Express Train.

The Carousel of Progress won my grandchildren over! They now know the song and actually requested to ride it several times!

If my husband needs a break, we ride the train. My grandchildren prefer Carousel of Progress and my daughter the People Mover. And what is my favorite? How about a hammock at The Caribbean Beach Resort.....

Shows for the most part. Something where I can sit in an environmentally controlled atmosphere and just watch. Shows are usually 10 - 20 minutes so you get a good break

For rides I would say Monorail, Peoplemover. Potc, HM and the likes usually do not last long enough to get a real break.

parents are as bad as their children in being annoying, no wonder their children act like they do. You have to admit, it is extremely hard to find a family being polite on the bus. Yes, I have been offered to sit by a young child and not only thanked them but their parents for raising such a polite child. No, I did not sit on grounds that I could not take the child's seat.
We always like the COP and we enjoy seeing the old things that we still have and use as decorations. I have never takin a cat nap on a ride, I have passed out at the resort in the afternoon once or twice. Usually a nice swim revives us for the rest of the night.

Actually, I have found many more polite people than not on the buses. They have given up seats, helped young families with children and strollers and at one point this spring, two teachers found themselves beside each other and ended up exchanging info. Yes, there are hateful people too, but they usually are determined that they deserve the right to be...well, hateful. Those are the people to smile at and overlook their nasty disposition.

And at 6 and 7 years old, we have taught our grandsons to get up and give ladies their seats. Lol, they will do their best to hold doors open too!

I agree with you Missy. I think it's up to us (not just Disney) to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Most people I meet are terrific. There are times you can expect buses to be very busy. DW taught me to kill them with kindness and to leave my Grumpy, Navy, and Construction self at home. It usually takes a couple days to relax into it, but it makes for a better trip. Remember, EVERYONE there paid for a vacation and wants a magical time.

I agree with you Missy. I think it's up to us (not just Disney) to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Most people I meet are terrific. There are times you can expect buses to be very busy. LOL!!!! I agree as well. My wife and another dear friend always told me to "kill them with kindness". Someone are always negative and no matter how perfect their vacation was there will always be something for them to complain about. So, let them complain but be super nice to them if you have interact with them. It is just like someone complaining to you and wants you to agree with and support their complaint but instead just say something like "Bless you heart."

Most of the people around WDW (whether in the park, on the bus, or on the monorail) terrific and polite. Those that aren't I either will avoid them and walk in the opposite direction or pay no attention to them if I can't leave the situation. It goes back to reading reviews. You can read it in someone's tone as they write that they are always negative and when you look further into other reviews they write, they are negative on those too. In my head, I through that review away and don't count it.

You can't please everyone but majority of people I meet at Disney are trying to have the best vacation they can; same as you.
