Hey DVC people. I am sure you have heard that WL is adding a new set of villas called Copper Creek. How will the Copper Creek Villas differ from the Boulder Ridge Villas??
Prior: Offsite most every other years from 1972 - 2000
Most recent: Offsite 2001 & 2003 / ASM 2006 / Offsite 2009 / Poly 2011 / POR 2013 / CR 2014 / GF 2015 / DS Hotel 2017 / BC 2017 / POR 2018
No Idea yet! Every time I talked to guides last summer & when mine called for my Birthday a few weeks ago - they did not have any details. The only thing that is certain is that it will have a longer expiration date at Copper Creek as opposed to Boulder Ridge.
I am really interested in the details when they do pop up - maybe soon as DVC sent out a blast e-mail about the upcoming sale this week and put similar teasers on their facebook page.

Not that I know but IMHO Boulder ridge is like AKL or Jambo house with big lobby. Where Copper Creek is more separate villas with small lobby like Kidani or AKV.
Hi Everyone I'm back! It's been a while, but here I am & ready to talk Disney! I am interested in Copper Creek & got stuff in the mail & emails. It's hard to see from the "artist rendering " pictures what the studios are really going to look like since I don't see a bed in the picture & says sleeps 4?

Disney4me.....as a DVC member did you get the recent mailing? Call your guide and ask.....that's the best way to find out.....

From what I understand the Price per Point is same as the Poly ($176 per point). Right now they are exclusive sales to existing DVC and there are incentives for higher sales (starting at 150 points), and will open for other purchasers some time soon.
The good thing is the points per room are more reasonable - here is the Points Chart
The bad thing is they have launched them with the Studio and 1 bedroom sleeping 4 (they were making strides towards getting more 5 person capacity - guess that changed!!!).
Pvtim I'm really not able to add on just now but knowing Polynesian is still open to buy into at the same price AND they do offer sleeps 5 quarters......that might be a better option for you

I totally agree! We love the Poly, sleeping 5 is great and the second shower and vanity work really well (if only they had made it a full second bath!!!). Copper Creek looks great, but Wilderness Lodge always had decent availability so I am not in a rush to buy there...and for now I have a comfortable number of points for how we travel.
I did get the brochure & it only shows a picture of 1 type of room & doesn't say what it is. I was very interested in Copper Creek since this has always been one of my favorite resorts!! I have called my guide & waiting to hear back...so might have 2 home bases!
