I know WDW has a lot of resorts and resorts to fit every budget. That aside....What is your favorite resort???
For me is hands-down, it is the Disney's Polynesian Village Resort!!!! When I was a kid, my parents and I would stay here every other time down (we would go to WDW on a regular basis of every other year). We would stay here for special celebrations.....my 16th b'day, my parents' anniversary. Since having my own family (my wife and I), we still stay here to celebrate...my 40th b'day. For me, it is the fond memories of family vacations and the island feelings (even before living on St. Kitts for 3 years). If I could afford to stay here every time we go down to WDW, I would stay HERE!!!!
Aside from PV, my wife and I greatly enjoyed POR as a moderate resort choice. But in the future, I think we are very content on staying on the monorail loop.....CR was great and cheaper than PV and GF.

Easy Animal Kingdom Jambo House. the cast members, atmosphere great. 2nd is Saratoga Springs for the proximity to night life. 3rd is Boardwalk with EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and monorail close by.
Ok for me if I need to book a big trip, my home resort of Animal Kingdom.....if I am spending lots of time at Magic Kingdom, Bay Lake Tower, if I'm doing Food and Wine then one of the DVC resorts that I can walk to, otherwise if I'm doing DVC last minute cheapest use of points often is Saratoga Springs and I can walk over to Disney Springs
second star to the right and straight on till morning

I like the idea of Saratoga Spring as close to the night life and of course Raglan Roads!!!

Grand Floridian...also love the Polynesian...would like to try Animal Kingdom one day
So am I correct you have been to Disney 5 times to stay? Seems you have only stayed in deluxe resorts.....very nice!
It was very convenient to be on the monorail, especially for the children and my Mom. I am open to trying other resorts...Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Resort, Boardwalk and Port Orleans Riverside.
