How desperate would you get to see the firework at MK? What would you do?
On Thursday, a lady from Michigan was accused of choking a girl because the stood to watch the firework show at MK and the lady behind her couldn't see.
In the article, it says the Mature family was sitting behind the group of girls that stood to watch the show. Well, if the Mature family couldn't see, then stand too!!!! Also according the article, the girls left and offered their spot and that is when the girl was attacked: because she offered you her spot? Really? First, what a great way to show your kids out to act in public and towards other people?! Also, her last name doesn't represent the behavior she showed.
What are your opinions and how would you have acted in this situation??

Unfortunately, some people feel that only their vacation needs matter. I would have asked the girl to sit down. If she didn't, I would have stood too. With that many people in a confined space, it's easy for tempers to flare, especially after a long day in the park. There is no excuse for physical abuse. I do not condone violence, but I do believe you have the right to defend yourself. If I was there, I would have tried to break it up and get security. I hope the witch gets jail time and a life time ban from all Disney properties. She's sick.

I've seen things get escalated very quickly from time to time which is usually why there are extra CM just standing by the buildings near the sidewalks....just for this very reason. It's a shame but we live in a very angry world today where so many feel entitled....

I COMPLETELY agree and it doesn't matter if it is the Baby Boomers or the Millennials, they all have the feeling of entitlement. I see it in my mom, my mother-in-law and in the niece and nephew.

I had a family push our grandsons out of the spots they were sitting in and when I traded spots with my grandchildren....the mom of the group sat her mom literally in my lap!

I am surprised this happened for a fireworks show, you should be able to view it all over. Especially since they were there first. Parades on the other hand can be ruthless...I have seen people come at the last minute and block folks who have been sitting for hours waiting. i am 6'3'' so I normally don't have viewing issues unless Shaq is standing in front of me but i have had my daughters get blocked and while I did tend to say something to the rude people, I would never choke anyone. I have swatted a few ipads out of the way, once at One Man's dream...a person was taping right in front of me blocking the view, after asking politely 2 times and then once a little meaner, nothing happened so then ...(Swat, smash) But i guess some people don't care or are actually oblivious to what others are doing around them...There is no other reason for standing in front of someone who has obviously been waiting.
Now I must say, I do wonder if there is more to this story, why didn't the kids just sit back down?
I agree there is probably more to the store but that is all that I have been able to find out thus far.
Maybe its best, if we find out more it could be more disturbing
I'd rather chalk it up as a mom who had a very long day and hit her breaking point....still not an excuse for choking someone, but we have all hit that point, just not many of us have taken action on it. Though I tend to think its something in between.
I never let this happen especially when I am at a Disney resort/park. Its my vacation and I am glad to be away from work. So no matter what happens, it won't spoil my attitude. I have had some doozies and my daughters can at times test anyone..but end result, I am there to have a good time.

She should be ashamed of herself! But people like that think nothing of it. Great example for her kids.
