That is on my list of restaurants for next time. I have read so many wonderful things about LeCellier. I must have had a brain freeze for not trying it when I was there.
I agree with the other posts , both Le Cellier and Yachtsman are terrific. I would give a 1% nod to Le Cellier because of the other extras ( Pretzel bread and cheese soup) but Yachtsman has some tremendous veggies and less traffic . One note to throw a wrench in - my boss took me to Shula's in the Dolphin resort. The steak was awesome there too.
The funny thing is that you have 3 amazing steak restaurants within walking distance of each other. You can literally leave Le Cellier and be at Yachtman with a 10 minute casual walk and then to Shula's in about 7 minutes more. That is pretty cool. (*Disclaimer - you do need to go through the turnstile in Epcot , but that entrance is never really crowded, especially for the exit.
The cheese soup, we have that each time at the food and wine, really good. Again, too much salt, I'm only allowed one on each trip.
We actually tried to make it at home from the recipe book they sell. I can only say they are leaving something out. After 2 times we gave up, maybe it was because we didn't add the salt, not sure, but the cheese has enough salt in it for our taste.
