Wishes vs Once Upon A Time Fireworks and Light Show

Ok, I will be the first to admit...I was one of the skeptics. How could Disney possibly come close to or top the popular Wishes? It's as much a staple to the goodnight lineup as much as The Goodnight Kiss. I mean, how can you possibly proclaim that you opened and closed the park without singing 🎶🎶 Star Light...Star Bright...First Star I See Tonight"🎶🎶 (My daughter had been at one of the first Wishes and now,was trying to figure out how to say goodbye.).
Well, in my opinion, they at least tied the popular fireworks show with the new Once Upon A Time light and fireworks show. For the nostalgic people, like my family, there is the storytelling aspects that gently guides you through the stories of our favorite childhood characters including Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast along with many more of our beloved and familiar friends. And who, but our most favorite Disney voice, Angela Lansbury could lead us on this special journey? Get ready to grab a Kleenex when Chip is reminded it's time to head to the cupboard. I mean, at 50 years old....I cried.
And now for the new generation of Disney fans...you have the story, the fireworks AND the technical aspect of a light show that has no rival. The old projections would change the front of Cinderella's Castle into the backgrounds of these well known stories. BUT, the new computer projections are much more sharp and more defined than the old show. Alice's Castle of cards look so real, that you honestly believe that a small puff of wind will blow it down in a heart beat. At one part, the computer animation makes it look as if the whole Castle is keeping beat to music.
So, with all this being said.....everyone should find something to love about this new show. Grab a special spot, a great snack and sit back and enjoy. I promise....You won't be disappointed!!!
