Walt Disney World just announced a Fourth of July celebration to be held at Disney's Grad Floridian Resort and Spa.

It is a special ticketed event. The tickets cost $120 plus tax for adults, and $59 plus tax for ages 3 - 9. With the tickets, the menu will include grilled steak and shrimp, specialty alcoholic drinks and desserts served on the Marina.

The finale of the evening is a viewing of the Magic Kingdom's fireworks from the resort.

Reservations can be made now at 407-WDW-DINE.

Prior: Offsite most every other years from 1972 - 2000

Most recent: Offsite 2001 & 2003 / ASM 2006 / Offsite 2009 / Poly 2011 / POR 2013 / CR 2014 / GF 2015 / DS Hotel 2017 / BC 2017 / POR 2018

What a great way to celebrate the 4th! I just love the Grand Floridian.

Then again, if we were down during the Fourth, I am pretty sure we would do it.

Me too! Cape May is one of the most beautiful areas down the Jersey Shore. The restaurant is one of our favorites.

Sometimes, a short vacation with the family is not the time to meet someone, the crowds, family wanting to get in the parks, etc.

Which is how it was back in December for us when I met you, but you are very accommodating and we were both going to the same park that day.

You made the meeting easy for us and did not interfere with our days plans and you have become a lasting memory for us. We actually left the park early that day and went swimming back at the resort. That is what we like to do, change plans as the day progresses after all we are on vacation and enjoying oneself is what it is all about.

Since then you have met so many of the forum members, I will let you know the next time we will be there for certain.

Hi, so sorry, I didn't see Cathie's message until today- I have been on a business trip and running around working crazy hours because we had a big release last night. Have not slept much the past 2 weeks. I even had to work Father's day - I am lucky I was able to make my twins graduation last Thursday, but I told my boss I was attending regardless of what he thought.
But anyway now I am going to be in vacation mode- I am discussing the plans with the group I am going with tonight , so I will know which days I can be available.
I am truly sorry, but I can say that I really need a vacation

because my mind has been slipping.
