I have not given news since sometimes.
We left WDW on February 28th bringing with me my health problem with prostate. At least we could stay until the planned return flight date. I can say, I know all the restrooms of the All Star Sports, Disney Springs and Theme parks of WDW.
Returning in Paris On March 1st, immediately I saw my MD and my urologist. For two months I wore a catheter which is not very pleasant. Finally I was operated on April 28th and left the clinic on May 5th. Since last Thursday my surgeon has taken off the spin from my belly..
Consequence I can't make much efforts for two or three weeks. So the last person of the family having seen Disneyland Paris was Simone on March 31st for the last shareholders meeting of Euro Disney. Yesterday I have brought my shares to the offer of TWDC at 2 €/share. So I have only a loss of 98% since I bought them on March 1994. Nevertheless the oldest shareholders like Simone and I will stay members of the Shareholders'Club for 10 years, at least if TWDC doesn't cancel this club before !
Normally I will be able to drive again at the end of this month. And also with the subway, I will be able to go again at Disneyland Paris.
In teh Parks from I know, they are celebrating the 25th anniversary. They have completed Star Tours number 2 with 70 movies in 3D, the same you have in the Hollywood Park. Big Thunder Mountain is working again after one year of refurbishing. And the three trains around the Park have been painted anew. On the opposite Pirates of the Carribean is closed for one year. There is a new parade with Maleficent as a steel dragon, the same as in the Magic Kingdom. The night show on Sleeping Beauty castle has been changed. I will tell you more when I'm able to see all of it.
Just one hour ago, I have ordered on the Disney Store website Mickey as a pizzaiolo deliverer and Mickey as an Impresionnist painter of Paris. What we could'nt spend in Florida will be spent in France for plushes made in China.We will also buy the 25th anniversary Mickey plush when again inside the parks.
Simone will have only 130 Mickey plushes. But what can I make against this invasion of mice ? Maybe buy a cat ?
I forgot to say we were not in the best conditions in Florida for making purchases. Nevertheless I bought a new baseball ball with Pirates theme.
In Orlando Airport we forgot to buy for our daughters Ghirardelli chocs. So in Miami Airport, we were forced to buy Toblerone chocs you can find in all airports of the world.
One question : I was very deceived that in the MK, my favorite character Sommy Eclipse has disappeared in the Starlights. Do you know why ?
