This just released today....
The new version of My Disney Experience will include a Mobile Order Service. This will allow you to pay for meals on-the-go within the My Disney Experience app and therefore bypassing the queue line to order your food at the restaurant. By using the app, you can select menu items, customize an order and pre-pay for a meal.
This service will be launch at Satu'li Canteen in Pandora - World of Avatar when the land opens to all guests on May 27, 2017.

The third enhancement / improvement is the ability to check more features about your vacation...your resort and everything about the resort you are staying at (dining, recreation, etc...)
