With the expansion of Hollywood Studios especially Toy Story Land, rumors are circulating that Walt Disney: One Man's Dream will be closing. Some of that attraction has already been packed up and made use for other things; like meet-n-greet for Moana. Also, with Toy Story Land swallowing up the building that currently houses this attraction, there may be some truth behind this rumor. Again, Disney has not made any official announcement about the attraction closing but I believe it is only a matter of time. We will just have to see what news comes out of D23 Expo.

They should be able to move it somewhere else. I will be sad if it closes.

I agree but one of the articles I read states that the Disney family as already been contacted to pick up everything and that they will be displaying it at the Disney Family Museum.

I will just have to visit the website...San Francisco is not on my list of places to visit. At least we have our memories.

I totally agree! I've been there dozens of times and am glad my grandkids have both seen it but I think if it's open still I might need one more trip through!

Disney just announced that "Walt Disney: One Man's Dream" will not really be closing but will re-imagined into "Walt Disney Presents". According to Disney Parks Blog, "Walt Disney Presents" will continue to showcase historical items from Walt Disney's history but it will also act as a preview center where guests can explore what's next for the park. "Starting in mid-September, you’ll be able to view concept art, ride vehicle maquettes and a never-before-seen model for Toy Story Land. A portion of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge model also will be on display, as well as concept art for the new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction."
The report states that the attraction will also continue to host greetings with characters like Star-Lord and baby Groot, plus special sneak previews of upcoming Disney films.
