Most people probably already know....but author Jean Shepard known for “In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash”, also known as “A Christmas Story” is closely related to Father John from Carousel of Progress. To be honest, the nice voice of grown up Ralphie is also the voice of Father John. Seems some where along the “Progress” of Father John’s life, we should see a Red Rider BB gun or the Bumpuses’ dogs!
