Here’s one for EPCOT-what in the world was housed in the buildings with the breezeway? It seems like a lot of empty space. I know there is two character spots opposite sides of the breezeway....

This was Communicore and was supposed to always be updated with new inventions. "The best laid schemes of mice and men often go astray".
The Great Movie Ride, now Micky's runaway railroad. We always enjoyed taking the ride and seeing the same movie scenes over and over again. Our daughter who usually always used her vacation days to come with us, loved the ride. When she was small, she watched the Wizard of Oz as often as she could. Of course I was sitting there with her watching it also. lol.
Those old movie scenes were the best, maybe they were lost on the younger generation but they always gave me the old days to remember.
I noticed in EPCOT they have removed the seagulls from in front of "The Seas with Nemo and Friends". Now that I am thinking about it, I thought it used to be The Living Seas. No more "mine, mine, mine" which is probably due to the opening of "The Journey of Water" and I can understand they wanted it quieter to enjoy the new Journey of Water which is right across from the Seas entrance.
We just got back from our latest WDW vacation. The seagulls are back at the "Seas" and still saying "mine, mine, mine" The area behind spaceship earth is finished with a new statue of Walt sitting by himself. It makes a nice photo opportunity for everyone. Lots of benches and some tables to take a break. They are still working on the last building to the right and I have no idea what it will be.
