I read on the Disney Dining an article by Paulak. She said that February 9th 2018, 9 months after the opening of the attraction , standing line bagan with 180 minutes and ended the afternnon with 165 minutes (EMH was working this day) This leads me to ask you the question : how many seats are in this attraction in front of the movie ? In a movie posted on Youtube, I heard 16 seats. But as English is not familiar with me, I'm afraid I didn't understand well what the movie maker had said So can you give me the answer ? I saw , always on Youtube , the movie which lasts 4' 20" , and seems a mixing od Star Tours 2 and Back to the Future 3, I saw in Universal Park in 1997, 2001 and 2004 in Hollywood. In the movies, Minnie and myself were impressed by the restaurant in Pandora where for 11 $ you can have a Vietnamese Bon plate, which we appreciate to buy in our district in Paris. At least, opposite to what they make in Disneyland Paris, they are testing new foods in WDW. that's good for the future.
There are four theaters each housing 16 link chairs (the ride vehicle) At full operation that means 64 people at a time are enjoying the ride There are also a couple of preshows as well.
The movie time sounds about right, and it is AMAZING!!!!!! Adding in the pre-shows it is about a 10-15 minute experience. The que is full of amazing details so at least once use the stand-bye line- but go to the bathroom before!
The best way I would describe it is a mix of Star Tours and Soarin but way better.
We waited on an EMH night for 95 minutes this past summer and no one in our party of 16 was upset by waiting that long - it was worth it...
The Navi River Journey on the other hand is worth20-30 minutes tops
Thanks pvtim for your answer. I have understood the word 16 , but not the fact there are 4 theatres. The only problem for us is that my wife has some problem in the knees. Impossible to make a standing line of three hours. So, in Disneyland Paris she has a disability card which permits her and three other people to begin an attraction by the exit. But this card is not valid in the US Disney parks.
WDW does offer a "Disability Access" which takes the place of those that can't stand in long lines. I had known about it but didn't know how it worked so I looked it up on Disney website. I have attached the article about "Disability Access" from their own website. I hope this helps...
Paul I know your problem personally, I also have problems standing waiting for buses, boats or whatever, I have found it easier to just walk, which takes it's toll.
