I heard that were will be changes to the dining plans comparing 2016 to 2017 like they are getting rid of the Platinum plan. That was a big plan but I think worth it if you were doing a lot of tours, eating at Victoria & Albert's, doing a lot of spa treatments or playing a lot of golf.
I have been trying to find what other changes they did but the disneyworld.disney.go.com/diningplan site has been down for the past several days. Does anyone know what other changes they made to the dining plans?
Prior: Offsite most every other years from 1972 - 2000
Most recent: Offsite 2001 & 2003 / ASM 2006 / Offsite 2009 / Poly 2011 / POR 2013 / CR 2014 / GF 2015 / DS Hotel 2017 / BC 2017 / POR 2018
We have the regular plan (I believe it's the My Way plan) next year. Our trade off for 2017 is 2 snacks a day and no dessert with QS. It actually is better because we usually don't want the dessert that comes with QS. Though for our stay next April, we now have 70 snacks between us to use!

We typically don't get dessert with our QS meals either but ask for an extra bottle of water. They are more than happy to trade a bottle of water for dessert.
