“Sunday Brunch with the Chef”- in World ShowPlace will kick off September 2 with Top Chef All-Star Richard Blais and continue on select Sundays through November 11 with a lineup that includes Jamie Deen, Tiffani Thiessen, Masaharu Morimoto, Buddy Valastro, Art Smith, Geoffrey Zakarian, Carla Hall and Alex Guarnaschelli.

See the full 2018 Eat to the Beat line-up.

“Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!” - hands-on workshops Wednesdays and Thursdays will offer new opportunities for guests to interact with visiting chefs, bakers, mixologists and other pros. Event hosts and topics will be announced this summer.
Popular TV chefs and other culinary icons will entertain guests and inspire their palates at festival seminars and other events. Just a few of the big names on tap are Robert Irvine, Maneet Chauhan, Jet Tila, Shaun O’Neale, Keegan Gerhard, Dan Pashman and Rock Harper.
A “Ratatouille”-inspired adventure is back as Chef Remy encourages families to play together during Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak scavenger hunt. This year Remy is hiding in all new locations.
The complimentary Back to Basics weekend series offered in the Festival Center will share epicurean tips and tricks from the pros. Book and bottle signings by some of the world’s top vintners will be available, and The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar, hosted by Ghirardelli, will offer guest samples.
This is our favorite festival and always look forward to being there to relax and enjoy life. Trying to figure out different things to do on a weekend (Friday, Saturday) when the park is so crowded we cannot enjoy ourselves. Tried eating at the resorts but after dinner we are always being pulled back to EPCOT. Any suggestions for Friday and Saturday nights?

Where do I begin? The menu sounds absolutely scrumptious! Grilled lamb chops, Belgian waffles, Brazilian seafood stew, piggy wings, paella, Canadian cheddar cheese soup with pretzel roll and anything with coconut...my mouth is watering.

I agree with you.
Have you ever been to F&W Festival???
From being there a couple of times, I can tell you that the grilled lamb chops Canadian cheddar cheese soup are as good as they sound. As far as the Brazilian seafood stew and the piggy wings, I plan on trying them at the next F&W we go to.

We will be there in just 4 days, looking forward to trying as much new foods as I can handle. Has anyone tried the Kimchi Dog? it was originally at South Korea then moved to the Refreshment Outpost. If you like hot and spicy and hot dogs with sauerkraut you will like this, it's not sauerkraut but close.

We are headed down in November so let me know what foods you enjoyed the most (lol) and which ones to avoid.

I will do that, it may be easier to just tell you what if anything I didn't like since I like almost everything. LOL
There are always the favorites from year to year. My daughter already plans on the cheddar cheese soup in Canada as her first snack.
For this weekend (October 13 and 14), Smash Mouth, who were suppose to play as part of the Eat to the Beat Series, was been replaced with Sister Hazel.
We had a great time at the Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT, the only issue was the heat which at times forced us to drink a lot of water and not eat. Some favorites were Loaded Mac 'n' Cheese at Active Eats, Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, Spicy Hot Dog and the Lobster Roll. Many of the other offerings were delicious and at this time it would take too much time to mention them. We probably enjoyed the icy drinks the most due to the excess heat and these are always available. One thing we found out was the Dole Whip in EPCOT's Refreshment Port is called a Pineapple Soft-serve Ice Cream. Something with the patent rights from Dole Whip and WDW not wanting to pay extra to use the name at this park. My daughter out did me by eating the Croissant aux Escargots in France, she had the idea that I was going to eat it with her. I chickened out after seeing the whole snails inside and she already ate her half. I thought they would have been chopped up at least. Others must like it because it is there every year.
