It appears that all the parks at the Walt Disney World Resort are getting new or re-designed entrances. Some of the new designs will include new walkway, new transportation loading and unloading areas, and new security checkpoints. Check out the boards of each park to see what changes are coming to that specific park (Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, and Epcot), but this thread will focus on the changes coming to the TTC and main entrance to the Magic Kingdom.
At the Magic Kingdom, most “Disney’s Walk Around the World” commemorative bricks lining the entrance are set to be removed. Below is a drawing of the scope of project.

Using the above photo as a reference, the current security checkpoints (the white white structures on the walkways) will torn down and new one will be installed. In addition, canopies for the Gold (Grand Floridian and Polynesian), Green (Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground), and Red (Wilderness Lodge) Launch boats will be removed as well as the two canopies north of the central boat launch. The northernmost bus turnaround will become smaller (almost a circle instead of the current oblong) to make room for the new security checkpoint.

In addition to this changes at the Main Entrance to the Magic Kingdom, there are also plans to make some changes at the TTC.
