I know I'm going to be in a minority, but Cinderella's Castle wasn't my favorite. It is a two table service credit restaurant and after we finished our meal, we agreed it was a "Disney Bucket List" item that we really didn't want to add back to the list, unless we add a grand daughter to our party, sometime down the road. It was very rushed and it seems like that was the one place where there was more picking at our food than eating. I think our cast member was having an off day and it showed. I understand turning over that many tables that quickly could wear on the nerves a little. We want to see the princesses again, but might wait until we can visit Norway in Epcot next year.

Maybe you will remember from the old site I posted that for the money I didn't feel that the castle was worth it for breakfast....that Askerhaus in Norway was far better not only on food but atmosphere and enthusiasm by the cast members....I think you will be pleased in Epcot

I pushed for Askerhaus for next April and won. I believe The Castle isn't worth the money for dinner, either. But, with that being said....a lot of people really like it.

My son got engaged there at a dinner and loved it.....both of them did....they stayed to watch the fireworks from inside too and said it was memorable......

I think my issue was that it wasn't up to the other meal experiences we had while at WDW. Again, it could have just been me, but I don't think I want to waste 2 on it again.

Neda and I have thought about trying just for the experience but haven't because of the mixed reviews, a lot of children there (so at least heard) and other/better ways to spend 2 dining credits on other meals.

We have had breakfast and dinner in Cinderella's castle and both have been wonderful experiences! The first year we had breakfast after my daughter's Bibbity Bobbity Boutique apt and she was treated like a princess! We loved how each family is announced before entering and just being IN THE CASTLE! My husband had several pics taken with his favorite, Jasmine, and Sleeping Beauty remembered meeting my daughter a few nights before at Akershus and even referred to the conversation they had! (They had discussed how my daughter's hair looked just like Ariel's.) We had dinner on our next visit and it happened to be my birthday and during the fireworks so it was extra special! Bit fancier according to my daughter, and we all enjoyed our food and loved meeting the princesses. We met and got pics and autographs from Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White, Belle and Sleeping Beauty on both occasions and of course Cinderella before each meal. Great memories and glad we did it! I think it is worth splurging the 2 credits for the whole experience of eating IN THE CASTLE at least once. That being said, my daughter is older now and we are not rushing to go back. There are just too many other places to try.
I agree that Cinderella's Castle was quite a disappointment. We had reservations at 8:15 we did not get taken until 9 PM. I have dine there before and the food was very good. This time the food was extremely subpar. For the price I will not go back. There are many other restaurants at Disney which are cheaper and much more superior.
Most of the reviews I have read are about how expensive it is for ok food. If my daughter willing wants to go there to eat with the princesses, then yes I would do it as a father but otherwise I will do my best to steer her elsewhere.

There is another princess experience that is only one credit and gives you good food, too.

We went to Cinderella's Castle when my daughter was little. It was a good experience for her and the food was fine. A little too crowded for me, but she loved meeting the princesses. We LOVED the Soundstage Restaurant at MGM Studios where she met Jasmine and Pocahontas. Jafar was just fabulous! It was a buffet and the food was good.

I have been to the castle 3 times, I don't think any of the times overwhelmed me , but my kids loved it because of the princesses and being inside the castle... The food was "ok" not bad but we felt a little rushed. Norway was alot easier and I think we actually saw more princesses but the food was poor. In either case, you are not paying for the food as much as the experience And in both cases, the experience is pretty awesome. ( if you are a fan of princesses)
