I have never tried Sci-fi but have observed the people waiting around outside for their name to be called. We have done 50's prime time and liked the atmosphere, never tried the bar which Cathie totally recommends. lol I was old enough to enjoy the real outdoor movie theaters and the last movie I saw believe it or not was with my wife before we were married and it was Song of the South. My most memorable movie was PT 109 which was the last one with my parents. If you watch "Grease" the drive in scene showing the screen was exactly what showed at intermission.

Well Mike I think the food is very good there....it's definitely about the atmosphere....but if you have never done it Dining in a "car" inside a building is fun from that aspect plus the old movie clips showing like a drive in that you and I both remember......it's odd but I remember all 3 of those movies very well. But on a side note, the bar at Prime Time knocks every experience out of the park at HS....lol
second star to the right and straight on till morning

Sci Fi is a fun place, - The food is decent, I do agree about the Oreo shake. (awesome) Actually the ribs are very good, I have ordered them the last 2 trips there. In most cases I try to look at the combination, so the experience and food combined makes it my favorite option at DHS. I agree that the Brown Derby has better food, and if the cast members are into it, the experience isnt bad. But the uniqueness of Sci-fi tends to rank higher with me. I am not a fan of Mama Melrose, I don't care for Prime time because of the random experience( castmember driven) and have been let down by Hollywood and vine after they changed their offerings a few years ago. Which limits me to 2 places in DHS. ( Brown Derby or Sci Fi)

We had Mama Melrose ressies last week and I agree, it was just ok. I'm still not sure about Prime Time, if I want to be fussed at for not eating something...I'll go back home!
