Seeing multiple reports that the Welcome show is changing

I have to admit that as much as check rumors I haven't heard of anything. I know Disney was offering a extra-cost paid ticket for non-extra magic hours days. It involves purchasing a ticket for $69 and you get into the park at 7:30 am. You are then led to Fantasyland to ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight only, then from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, breakfast will be available at Pinocchio Village Haus. I read you still have to buy a regular park ticket as well, but it is suppose to start January 10th and is available basically every Tuesday between January 10th and March 7th.

I don't think I like it. That means no empty street pics that you can get with early ADR.

"Are you planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in 2017? New enhancements are coming to the way guests will experience the opening of Magic Kingdom Park – starting on January 9!

If you’ve experienced the park’s “opening moment” during previous vacations, you may recall waiting at the front of the park to kick off the day.

Beginning January 9, guests will be allowed to enter the Main Street, U.S.A. area of the park even earlier than the park’s scheduled opening time. This will allow guests time to savor the charm of Main Street, U.S.A., enjoy breakfast or a warm drink at the Main Street Bakery featuring Starbucks. Then promptly at opening, a new welcome show will officially open the park for the day on the Castle Forecourt Stage. A Royal Herald will appear to deliver a proclamation and welcome a few familiar characters to the stage, officially opening the park so “the magic can begin!”"

We always do the rope drop with the grandkids at MK. It's fun and gets us in the hyped up for the park. It is very crowded and you really don't want to be caught toward the back of the area. Everyone puts small children on their shoulders which makes it hard for everyone to see. We were actually at the ropes last year, and it's fun to have a little while to talk with cast members.
