While reading the responses to this post, it looks like it was very easy to get off the subject LOL I give you people credit for enjoying Disney Springs at night, something we haven't done since it was Lake Bueno Vista I believe. We usually take one day and always eat at the Earl of Sandwich, great food for the money. The Co-op is a nice place to shop also. We totally hate walking to the bus and waiting, very inconvenient getting back to the resort.

Well Mike with the new bus lYout you should try it again, they moved the bus stop to the center of Disney Springs so it's not quite that long walk you remember.....there Re lots of cool little places throughout to sit and relax and people watch too.
second star to the right and straight on till morning
Post by dngnb8 on about an hour ago The must do portion has to do with the plan, not the park if you ask me. Resort packages are front loaded. 85% of the cost is in the first 4 days. I suggest taking 7-8 days.
My perspective is more about the pre-planning stage. People do not allocate the time necessary to enjoy the parks. They give themselves a day a park and dammit!!!!! we are going to have a good time like it or not. They spend their day running ride to ride trying to get as much in as possible. The end result is exhaustion, frustration, short tempers and frankly, not a good time.
Give yourself time people. All the planning in the world will not save a WDW trip when youre steamrolling the park. I know, I know, cost! All I have to say is, in the end, how much are a lifetime of memories really worth?
Take the time people. Enjoy, relax and it will all come together.
Actually, people do push through parks and maybe don't think about visiting Disney Springs. I can't imagine steam rolling Disney Springs, though. Planning is good, and Disney Springs is a good detour on the Disney vacation.

Hi Cathie,
I was just there in September and December, has it changed since then? I think you are talking about what I am complaining about.
It is not an easy walk especially for someone with walking issues which I have after a few days at Disney. We try very hard now to keep me going for the entire vacation and the reason we no longer go to DS the first day.
Don't get me wrong we love DS, it is just trying to get back to the resort afterwards. We have actually thought about not going there just for me.
On another note, I was pruning my never ending trees today on my property. I have the nicest trees and bushes because I prune them every winter or after they flower in the spring, depends on the species. Well, I am in a lot of pain, not sure if I damaged my tendon or muscle, just know that I am in pain and decided to cut everything down to the ground and finally not have to deal with it. I am just getting too old to deal with everything. My neighbor will be very upset when I cut the shade to her new deck, oh well, that is her problem once I do it. Like I said, I'm done, time to move to Florida and relax.
I really don't want anymore seasons like we experience here in what some call upstate NY. Oh course people upstate call us downstate. I'm willing to try and reason with hurricane season if given the chance.

As long as you have a watch that "just says now", a margarita in your hand, and as long as "the weather channel girl with her perfect weather curls" isn't "talking cold, cold, cold", then you should have no problems "trying to reason with hurricane season".

This must be the new Hi-jacked thread. Has anyone checked out the menu for Paddlefish, which took the place of Fulton Crab House? Apps or small plates are about $15 (ok price). Dinner entrees are $25-$50 (not bad price). sides though are ridiculously priced..$15 for mac and cheese side....$8 for small Caesar salad. Looks like the typical seafood restaurant with no real theme. Meat and Seafood. Risotto and Jambalaya and Hawaiian Opah and Colorado Lamb. Menu is all over the place. IMHO, good chefs specialize in specific cultures. I don't know if I want to try it or not with so many other established good restaurants nearby.
