What do you like best about Disney Springs?

My wife and I usually spend several evening walking through Disney Springs and dining there. We so LOVE Raglan Road and listening to the music and watching the dancers there. We also like walking and window shopping...looking for ideas for the house and art work to bring home for home or work. With all the new restaurants opening up, we are very interested in trying them but will not give up Raglan Roads.

I agree with keeping shopping in WDW.  I was talking to one CM a couple years back and mentioned that the thing that was missing from WDW (to keep guests not having to go anywhere) was a bowling alley, big shopping and grocery store.  He told me that there are plans for the bowling alley (Splitsville) and rumors about a grocery store (Pulbix) but he wasn't sure about the shopping.  It looks like all three ideas will come true.

The grandsons and I really enjoyed The Lego Store. They could have stood there and built cars, spaceships and buildings all night! And then someone decided they needed a kit to work on....

I took my daughter and mother to WDW for a long weekend one September. We left on a Friday and came home on Tuesday. It was the first time for both of them. My daughter missed (2) days of school, but had done the work ahead of time. We stayed on the 7th floor of the CR..had a perfect view of SM from our balcony. My daughter was fascinated with the monorail running through the resort. I had planned out each day. We had a character breakfast every morning...our favorite was with Chip 'n Dale at the GG in Epcot. Of course we hit CM's on our last day. We did (1) park a day...we paced ourselves. At night my daughter and I would go to another park, usually the MK, while my mother rested. Yes, it was a lot of walking, but it was one of the most memorable trips we ever took. When we stayed longer, 7-8 days, we always planned (1) day for shopping, sight-seeing the other resorts and pool time. We would get to the park when it opened, rest in the late afternoon, have an early dinner and go back out to another park at night. Our planning and ADR's were a huge plus...but we were very flexible if something didn't go just right. Definitely one of my favorite trips, even if it was short.

It's ok Briar....we have all done this.....so what DO u like most about Disney Springs? Let's try that again.....

I really have enjoyed the addition of so many new shops and plenty of choices of great places to eat, to sit outside and have a drink and watch the world go by.....love it

I could go for Hot Chocolate right about now...it's been so rainy and damp the past (2) days.
