Hey disney mike, We do this often when we have a big group. When You select Fast Pass party only select the ones for that ride. Or you can always go back and modify fast passes. If that still doesn't get you right, goto a fast pass location like next to mouse gears in Epcot and a cast member will gladly fix it for you.
You get to chose who rides with a FP and what ride. As far as changing parks, I'm not sure how that would work. All that I have read on line is, no. But that was from 2 years ago.
I have changed parks. Can't schedule ahead of time. You need to use the first one in the first park, then you can make one in another park

Thanks Dean! I'll share that with the group who just told me no....

I want to say no. But I have seen people with FP during EMH. These might have been acquired during that day thru a cast member. The rule is 3 have to be used before you make another. Again, see a cast member at a fp location.
I will work on this FP being able to use in different parks and let you know when I'm successful.
Mike the more you use the FP+ arrangement the easier it gets....personally I think it's invaluable to have the MyDisneyExperience app on my phone.....if traffic is running late driving over I can rearrange our FP for the day before I even get into the park most times.....next trip down that I meet up with you I will try to show you some tricks
Cathie, I already sent my suggestions in, 1. is to be able to split up the fast passes amongst your group, ex. someone doesn't or cannot do a certain ride, right now my entire party books the same ride and maybe 2 use it. that is a waste of fast passes for us and others trying to book it but can't because there are too many for that time. 2. be able to split between parks, we do animal kingdom in the morning and only book one fast pass, we don't stay there all day, the next park we have no fast passes for because when you start in a park you have to finish there with fast passes.
If I'm doing something wrong, please tell me so I can correct this problem while booking.
Oh, we only have the old flip phone and seldom use it. We are a hold out from the old days. LOL
Yes Mike you can book a fast pass for one or more of your group.....just a maximum of 3 for each person and then you can go to a kiosk and book an additional one at a time if you still use the old kind of cell phone. Ashley doesn't have a newer phone? Or the fact she isn't always with you....
second star to the right and straight on till morning

Of course Ashley has the new phone, and so does Joe, they think I enjoy all the planning because I always did it. My clipboard of fun they called it in the old days and still do. To tell the truth, I don't enjoy it anymore, it stresses me out that I will not get something they want. This last trip in December Libby told me I did a great job planning everything. It was nice to hear and encourages me to continue. LOL It's not like we haven't done it before and they are not little kids, must be thinking they still are and I don't want to disappoint them. LOL
Thanks to the information from several forum members telling me I didn't have to book everyone for the same ride, this will come in handy hopefully this year. Almost booked in April on a nice deal for the Yacht and we changed one day on the planning and lost it.
First of all, let me tell you I'm a very anxious guy when it comes to my Disney Vacations, so don't judge me!
Tomorrow I will be able to reserve my FP+s for my trip on May. I thought I'd take a little tour on the app, because I won't be in front of a computer at 00 hours EST and I wanted to get familiar with the MDE app. When I go to booking FP (I know I'm not alloud yet, still wanted to see that part) it tells me I have no tickets linked. the website for Disney shows all my tickets and hotel reservations, so I know they're linked to me and the other ones in my party.
Then my question is: is this a standard message I get because I don't have tickets with FP available at this point? or should I be worried about getting the same error tonight?

You need to link to your tickets to your app account. Yes, your tickets are linked to your MDE online but sometimes don't get linked to MDE app. Just relink them.

Ok guess doc found a way to book FP for EMH.....never knew about that doc.....how do you do that doc?
First of all at least from everything I know), you know that EMH are for guests staying at the resort only and being an AP holder doesn't count. To qualify and get into EMH, you have to have your valid theme park (AP for those that are AP holders) AND a valid Disney Resort hotel MagicBand (not just your regular MagicBand but a MagicBand that shows you are staying on grounds) or a Disney Golden Oak ID card. So, if you aren't staying at a resort on the grounds of WDW, you don't qualify for EMH.
Morning EMH are 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. for a different park of each day of the week. When Neda and I go to WDW and stay at the resort, we always get a FP+ for Kilimanjaro Safaris around 8:15 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. When we go to book out FP+'s, the system knows we are staying at the resort and allows us to get FP+'s that are available during EMH.
We do the same thing when we go to HS for morning EMH. We will usually get one FP+ for the morning EMH hour and the rest are for afterwards. Because the FP+ times are typically for an hour time slot, you can only get 1 during the morning EMH. We never get a FP+ for the evening EMH.

But when I tried to do that, it tells me that the reservation is already link to an account... I guess in a matter of hours I'm gonna see if everything works for me...
Wll have to book my FP tonight on a 250 miles bus ride home...
