I found a good dozen of these food "tooth picks" they are plastic and we are not sure where they came from. the design to us is the Polynesian, maybe someone else has a better idea.

Thanks Rich, we still can't figure out what we purchased to get these. After Christmas more boxes will be pulled out of the attic and basement.

Sure hope to have interesting stuff to show.
My parents had many of those and if I remembered correctly, they came from drinks. I remember getting them when I ordered Monorails as a kid and when my parents order "adult" drinks.
That's a nice collection Rich, I don't remember those glasses except the last one on the right, ours is clear glass. hope you enjoy them and they provide you with lots of nice memories.
came across these old plastic dinnerware utensils, the orange are older and very well made, the knife can cut a steak, it is that sharp. The red and purple replaced the orange and were still well made but lessor quality than the orange. These came from quick serve restaurants in WDW. Does anyone remember them?

LOL...oh my gosh!!! I don't think I would ever think about saving the utensils from the restaurants. Since these are probably from the 80's and 90's, I don't remember them. That being said, I will also add that I don't remember eating too many meals at the quick serve restaurant back them. I remember a few but usually we snacked during the day or went back to our resort rooms to have snack.

I used the orange set in my last job (stopped 2 years ago Good Friday) for 7 years. They can stand up to everyday use, They are fantastic and are now put away. You are once again correct with dates as best as I can remember, Orange set early 80's and red/purple late 80's early 90's. So much better than todays black set that the forks bend when trying to pick up something.
In days of old, we went to the MK every morning then back to the resort for a swim, they to EPCOT for dinner where we probably got these if not the resort.

I said it before, we saved everything and Libby won't let me get rid of these plastic silverware she likes them also. Not like todays forks that bend when you try to pick some food up. And to think they were disposable back then to most people. LOL Just wish they had Disney on them.

Usually the quick serve was a dinner for us, we brought cereal, purchased milk for breakfast and went back to the resort for PBJ sandwiches for lunch.
Last summer I threw out the Mickey shaped Styrofoam containers that we saved. Found them in my shed.
Along with utensils came napkins 1st one was around 2001, not sure of the 2nd napkin. Today there are no printing just plain.
I saved plastic utensils from our trips too! The napkins went into my scrapbook, as did drink stirrers, menus, etc. Eventually we used the utensils as the time came to clean and purge. Silly, I know, but at the time it was a fond rememberance along with our pictures. One of the best meals I ever had was at Mama Melrose's...pork loin over polenta...the sauce was amazing. When I look at the menu in my scrapbook, it takes me right back there. Funny how such little things can invoke such wonderful memories. I don't save utensils anymore. My downfall are magnets. My refrigerator is covered with them...and a story behind every one.

My parents save drink stirrers with the idea of making them into a bar top. My parent did sorta take utensils so we had something to eat with on the way home and didn't keep them to save they for years. My mom did a lot of scrapbooking too before scrapbooking was an "in" thing.
Magnets are a GREAT to remember trips and events and also a great conversation start when other people view them.
