An extinct restaurant (one that I was glad to see leave the parks), McDonald's as that was a contract thing created by Michael Isner. There is still the big restaurant on the grounds of WDW over by the All-Star Resorts but no longer within the parks.
I would like to see LEAVE ----------- Starbucks!!!!! I hope that contract ends soon.

I get my Starbucks decaf coffee every morning on my way to work. However, when I am on vacation, I prefer the local coffee that is there. When I am at DW, I live on Kona coffee. I would never get Starbucks while at DW. There are too many other options. I would like to see it disappear too. McDonald's? I wouldn't even eat that at home, no less at DW. I do miss the Soundstage Restaurant that was in MGM Studios, now Hollywood Studios. We had buffet breakfasts there and saw the characters from Aladdin and Pocahontas. It was great! The food was good and there was ample access to the characters. Jafar was awesome...Meeko was too adorable.

WOW, Briarrose and Drwadadli, is Starbucks that bad? I totally understand what you are saying, my daughter would be devastated, she loves Starbucks and has actually gotten my wife and myself into eating an egg sandwich when eating breakfast in the parks.
Last year we were actually eating that breakfast over at Casey's in the MK when we were approached by a cast member to be the Grand Marshals in the afternoon parade, it was the best experience ever, just wish my other two children were with us.
I do miss the bakery smell on main street and yes, Disney does not need the other big companies part of OUR experience. So I do agree with you.

Everyone is entitled to their personal opinion. To me, Starbucks is over-priced bitter-tasting coffee. The reason everyone adds all that other stuff to their Starbucks coffee is because they have to do something to make it taste better because their plain coffee taste nasty. As for my wife, she has drink decaf and to her their decaf isn't half bad but she is unwilling to pay that price for a simple cup of coffee. I think Starbucks is more of an ego thing anyhow. For as much as Starbucks coffee costs, it is for the yuppies, well-to-do's, rich-and-famous and those that want to think they are in the previously mentioned groups.
People always complain about how much a trip to WDW costs but at the same time, they drink their Starbucks. If they drink regular good coffee like Dunkin' Donuts or coffee from home, then they could save enough to make a dent in the cost of a Disney trip. Example: Venti (24 oz) coffee costs close to $5.00 including tax. If you plan your Disney trip 6 months in advance and stop at Starbucks everyday on your way to work, Starbucks would cost you $650.00 but it could be more if you stop on the weekends or order their muffins and what-have-you. In comparison, if you by K-cups in the 12 pack that costs about $6.00 a box and have coffee everyday for the same 6 months, it would only cost you about $90.00.
Another reason I don't like Starbucks....they bought Teavana. I used to by their tea to make at home but since they sold to Starbucks, I haven't contributed to Starbucks' pockets.
Like I said at the beginning, everyone is entitled to their opinion and this post is just our opinion.

As a coffee lover, and I drink it black, Starbucks coffee is never the same brew. The Starbucks here in Delaware is horrible, especially the espresso. Burnt beans, etc. People here only drink it to show that they can afford it. The Starbucks at Disney is a much better tasting coffee, but the value isn't there. When I buy a double espresso, I expect more than 2oz.Luckily for us, We have Joffreys. Plus they'll add Bailey's for Irish Coffee. I even get Joffreys delivered here in Delaware.

Your funny Rich. and I do agree with you that they are over priced. Believe me, I am not a yuppie, well to do or even rich and famous nor will I ever be.
That cost assessment of buying a cup each day and the total of $650 in 6 months brings back old memories. One year I brought PB&J sandwiches to work every day for about 6 months in order to not pay $5.00 for the meal at work. That meal was well worth the $5.00 except we wouldn't have had enough money for vacation.
Now, back to the restaurants that are no more, I plan on making sure they are no more before taking pictures of the menus.
I love Starbucks decaf coffee...I just want to try something different when I'm on vacation. My stomach does not like Dunkin' Donuts coffee, donuts, etc. You're right...if you get a specialty coffee, be ready to pay up.

Better yet, even the K-cups are expensive. I buy a flavor coffee from our grocery store and make a pot every morning that lasts me 2 days. At $5.00 a bag and that last about a month, cost me $60 for the whole year! That extra savings is for my Disney account.
Now, if I could just stop getting good beers I could save even more.

Wow, I drink way more coffee than that. I think we spend about $35 @ month on coffee. just at home. not counting coffee bought at WaWa or other places. I should probably research this more for missed savings.
