At the beginning of the month, WDW News Today reported that with Mobile Order quickly taking off at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort’s counter-service dining locations, Disney is looking to enhance the experience with a new look and easier ordering for guests with food allergies and dietary restrictions.
This update is currently available in the Disneyland App for Disneyland Resort and will arrive soon in the My Disney Experience App for Walt Disney World Resort. It features easier navigation and a fresh design with new icons and more photos of menu items. Also, navigation will be easier for guests with certain allergies or dietary restrictions to discover the options that accommodate their needs at participating locations.
More than 20 participating quick-service restaurants offer Mobile Order at each resort. Meal and snack orders can be made from anywhere in the park, with payment in advance. Upon arriving at the restaurant and tapping “I’m here,” your order will be ready to be picked up at a designated window within a few minutes.
We have tried it. I had a big drop in my blood sugar and my daughter jumped on the app and ordered from Cosmic Rays. We would have had to stand in for at least 20 minutes just to order (lines were out the door), but the app had us picking our food up in just a few minutes. We loved it!

There was a special waiting corner on right of the counter in Cosmic Rays where mobile ordering guest pick up. They move quickly, so don’t order and wait 30 minutes to show up!

Yesterday, Disney Parks Blog announced that Mobile Ordering is coming to the Disney Resort hotels over the coming months. You will be able to order, pay for and pick up fresh meals and snacks when you are ready – right from your fingertips - from places like Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
These restaurants will join the existing mobile order lineup of Centertown Market and Spyglass Grill at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and over 20 other quick-service locations throughout the four theme parks and Disney Springs area.
With the service, you can order ahead from wherever you happen to be, skip the order line and head directly to the pick-up counter where Cast Members deliver your food – helping you save time to enjoy all there is to see and do at Walt Disney World Resort.
And don’t forget, if you have a Disney dining plan you can now redeem your meals and snacks through the service.
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort have been added to the list of resort restaurants that are accepting mobile ordering.

Not as these places, but we do use them. Everyone that wants to go to a night show, or fireworks show, needs to mobile app after staking their firework show place. Send a runner to get food, again you walk up and they hand you your food and go back and enjoy your show.
