Just when I thought the bus transportation was getting better it turned into a fiasco to say the least.
We decided to head to Disney Springs around 10 am, as we got to the Yacht Club's bus station we noticed it was packed.
The first bus arrived and it was for the MK, guests started to board when the driver noticed a person in a scooter. Boarding was stopped, the back door and ramp were used for the scooter and boarding continued. Then somehow the driver noticed another person on a scooter in the crowd, boarding stopped again, people had to leave the bus while the scooter got on. Then another bus came along for the AK and it waited while the MK bus continued to let guests on. How that many people got on that bus I have no idea, not my idea of a fun ride.
The Animal Kingdom bus pulled up and the rest of the guests packed that bus as several more buses started to pull in.
The 3rd bus was for the MK and 3 guests got on, we were the only guests at the station at this point and watched the back up of buses, they were out to the entrance road. We counted 5 more for the MK, 1 more for AK, 1 for Blizzard Beach and finally our bus for Disney Springs.
They must have to continue on the scheduled route even if numerous buses are going to the same place. Each one stopped, opened the door, sat for a while then drove over to the Beach Club. No guests were there except us.
Coming back was worse, only one bus is available for the following resorts, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht, Beach and Boardwalk. After 4 I was told they have separate buses to each resort.
First stop was the Swan and we got off and walked back to the Yacht Club which is really not that far.
